Tower Domain Manager
The Controller Training Contract Tower Domain Manager is responsible for ensuring that the day:to:day operations and administration of the Tower Domain is maintained.
The Tower Domain Manager will support Academy Program Management in accomplishing the following:
: Ensure air traffic controller training is executed in accordance with the Controller Training Contract CTC).
: Consistently represent SAIC Vision, Values, Goals and Objectives to the customer, employees and co:workers.
: Communicate directly with FAA designated representatives for the area of responsibility to ensure mutual understanding of training requirements and delivery expectations.
: Identify and recommend to the CTC Academy Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager appropriate staffing levels within their area of responsibility to ensure cost effective support and the highest standards of training delivery.
: Provide information to the Academy Program Manager and integrated business team to ensure fiscal integrity of the operation within area of responsibility. This includes ensuring staffing and cost of operation within the area of responsibility is consistent with approved plans and budget.
: Assist Talent Acquisition in identifying qualified candidates, who meet technical qualifications, experience and education necessary to be successful as an Air Traffic Control Tower Training Instructor. Oversee individual certifications within area of responsibility to ensure contract and SAIC quality requirements are met, as well as customer goals for quality.
: Schedule and oversee the day:to:day operations of Instructor staff necessary to complete the training delivery.
: Maintain sufficient technological skills to enable the accurate collection of the data necessary to manage within the CTC program. This includes but is not limited to the collection of data to generate monthly status reports (including quality metrics reporting) and internal and external management reviews, generating staffing reports and forecast, as well as performing online maintenance of Training and Certification records of employees.
: Direct and oversee within the area of responsibility, employees in their daily work routines to ensure Team SAIC and Customer guidelines are met. This includes but is not limited to: Accurate and timely time card completion; professional and appropriate behavior; completion and recording of mandatory training requirements.
: Partner with other Domain Leads to ensure best practices are consistently applied across the Academy.
: Travel as required.
: Interface effectively with FAA facility management at all levels to ensure contract compliance by all contract employees.
: Lead and manage a diverse workforce, demonstrate experience in performance management
: Continuously evaluate classroom and simulator training and receive and apply feedback to Academy contract staff.
: Work successfully with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
: Communicate with Information Technology utilizing standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite, etc.

At a minimum, the Tower Domain Manager must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in an Air Traffic Control facility and a minimum of three (3) years' of supervisory or managerial experience.
