Title: Construction Superintendent Location: USA-Oklahoma-Oklahoma City Responsible for safety and environmental compliance, contractor performance, cost management, and other supervisory activities on pipeline construction projects. Core Competencies: * Action Oriented * Approachability * Technical Learning * Planning * Problem Solving * Customer Focus * Business Acumen Job Responsibilities: * Supervise daily activities of foreman and/or inspectors. * Evaluate construction requirements for upcoming projects. * Monitor compliance of construction activities to Devon policies and external regulatory requirements. * Responsible for assembling required project documents such as specifications, drawings, payment schedules, and other business documents related to the work. * Coordinate and perform tasks involved with pre-project planning such as required construction documents and material procurement. * Review all incidents within area of responsibility and participate on root cause analyses. * Assure that all corrective actions resulting from incident investigations are completed. * Assure all construction documentation required for the permanent construction file is assembled. * Communicate with construction contractors regarding issues including safety performance, project scheduling, QA/QC, and costs. * Review project costs on an ongoing basis to assure that projects remain within budget. * Provide cost estimates for major pipeline projects. * Interact with company personnel to coordinate construction activities. * Should have a minimum of 10 years of industry experience with at least 5 years of related Midstream experience and at least 5 years of supervisory experience. * Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering * Position may require travel * Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word software. * Knowledge of current regulatory requirements.
